For hikers that are a bit more experienced the Panoramaweg is recommended from June to October, taking the Jöchelspitzbahn (chairlift) from Bach. The Panaroma-path will lead you to us in approx. 2.5 hours. The Panaroma-path certainly lives up to its name with unspoilt and beautiful flowers and animals.

The Alpenrosensteig is a bit shorter with approx. 2 walking hours, but just as beautiful. Especially between the begining of June and the middle of July when the flowers are in blossom both trails are of outstanding and exceptional beauty, also very much appreciated by botanists.

Arriving at our chalet, you can completely enjoy food and drink as well as your holiday or outing. While descending some people might feel stiff or have a few aching muscles, which will be willingly accepted when looking back to a wonderful day.

Winter Tour

You can also visit us in winter. A track is laid from Elbigenalp to the chalet, so that you can easily walk or ski to us. Stroll through enchanting forests to our chalet and enjoy the magnificent view of snow-covered mountains and valleys.

The complete surroundings of Bernardseck are an alpine flower paradise with a large variety of flora and fauna species, and besides blooming mountains it shows a fascinating abundance of game. Especially enjoyable in spring when nature awakes to new life and shows itself at it`s best, and animals like marmots awake from hibernation and show up.

A wonderful and unforgettable spectacle of nature is the rutting season in autumn.
